SMALL MEADOWS

Create Whimsical Botanical Prints

During this relaxed workshop, you will be introduced to one of my favourite techniques; gelplate printing using fresh botanicals and simple handmade stencils.

You will have fun as you create your own botanical prints to frame & use in future art projects of your own.

SEA TREASURES

Make your own sea glass collage

Spend an unhurried couple of hours creating your own piece of glass art to frame using found sea glass & ceramic pieces of different colours, shapes and sizes.

All materials will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own sea treasures if you have any with a special memory or meaning attached to them to include in your piece.

TINY GARDENS

Create mini mixed-media collages with a botanical theme

Learn how to combine different types of papers and other elements like, ribbon, stencils and buttons to make a gorgeous pair of layered compositions ( appr. 12x12cm) where dried botanicals take centre stage. We will build our tiny gardens or still lives from the base layer up, adding more details as we go along. These can then be framed by you and continue to bloom on your walls.

How long are the workshops?

Workshops last from 2 to 4 hours, depending on the individual workshop.

Who are the workshops for? Do I have to be an artist to join?

My workshops are for everyone- beginners to seasoned artists! I aim to teach simple, versatile techniques with an emphasis on process, exploration and enjoyment.

Are workshops for children or adults?

My workshops are for both adults and children 12 years+ but all attendees under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult attendee.

Do you facilitate private workshops?

Yes, alongside my occasional pop-up workshops, I also facilitate local private workshops.

These are a wonderful idea for a birthday party/special occasion for a small group of friends or a family get-together.

Where do private workshops take place?

Private workshops take place in your home, workplace or other venue chosen and provided by you. Currently I offer this service in the South Dublin and North Co. Wicklow area; within an hour’s drive maximum from where I live in Shankill Co. Dublin.

How do Private Workshops work?

Here is how it works:

1) Choose one of the workshops above and available dates - I offer only 1-2 private workshops per month, on a first come first served basis. See available dates -here!

Or alternatively, email me to suggest a time that would work for you and I will see if I can facilitate it. (Please note, I need at least 4 weeks notice.)

2) Decide whether you’d like a 2 hour or 4 hour workshop.

You can choose from the following time-slots: 10am-12noon/10am-2.30pm (with 30 min for lunch)/2pm-4pm/7pm-9pm/2pm-6pm/4pm-8pm. (Please note, depending on the workshop, I need 20-40min to set up and 20min to tidy up afterwards at the host’s location.)

3) Get a group of a minimum of 7 people together - this includes the host who goes free.

How many people can attend a private workshop?

Minimum of 7 people for all private workshops.

For private printing workshops my maximum group size is currently 12 people, maximum numbers for all other workshops is 20 participants.

Price of a private workshop

2 hours private workshops cost €35* per participant

4 hours private workshops cost €70* per participant

All materials are included in the price and the host goes free.

*(These prices are valid till the 31st December 2025)

My private printing workshops in particular can get pretty messy (in the best of ways)! So please ensure you can offer ample work/table space for the number of people you’d like to invite.

I do not need access to water for these workshops.
